Travel Considerations
Hajj requires significant physical stamina. Pilgrims walk considerable distances between ritual sites, often in extreme heat. Health preparation, appropriate vaccinations, and physical conditioning are important steps in the planning process.
Saudi authorities require specific vaccinations including meningitis (ACWY) for all Hajj pilgrims. Travelers should consult their physician well before departure.
